Surface and recessed ICCP anodes
The latest ICCP anodes are designed to combine maximum performance with features which speed-up installation and to suit all hull profiles. They are exceptionally lightweight, have a small footprint and can be diver changeable, enabling them to be replaced without dry-docking, if necessary.
Control panels with advanced features
Many large vessels have forward and aft ICCP systems. Today’s control panels enable both systems to be controlled and monitored from the aft panel only. Data on the performance of the system can be uploaded and emailed to Electrotest Marine for analysis.
Shaft earthing systems for bearing protection
Even on ships fitted with ICCP or sacrificial anode systems, propeller shaft bearings are vulnerable to corrosion. This can be eliminated if the shaft is earthed to the hull using a propeller shaft slip ring consisting of a pair of high silver content/graphite brushes mounted in a brush holder, running on a copper slipring with a solid silver inlay.
